Listening to: Stretch Panic ost
How's it going, everyone?
Pretty much guessing that a lot of people have already gone back to school/college at this point (if not, next week) or whatnot. At this point, I think I oughta make an update before the serious college stuff comes.
So it's been a week or so ever since I'd moved into my dorm, and surprisingly I've settled in with college life and being far away from home faster than I expected. I do call my parents every now and then, but with a lot of events and clubs happening here and there it's hard to pretend that I didn't have fun. Everything's fine with my classes and homework, although in one of them I kept on wanting to doze off because of how the professor does his "lectures". Everything feels somewhat slow at this point, but it oughta get more intense once winter comes.
Even though summer is almost over I kinda wished my dorm building has A/C; we have a lot of fans on the floor, but they're useless whenever it's super hot.
College stuff aside, if you hadn't checked out my Twitter feed in the past few days, I've actually got the chance to play The Ocean Hunter for the second and recently third time (the first time was when I was very young)! A couple of weeks before college started I caught wind that the museum in the city nearby has the ol' [rare] game as part of its summer exhibit, and so I went to check it out the day before classes start. I went with my roommate, who I'd invited to come and she played alongside as Torel/Player 1, and we blasted our way to the end very well (Rahab kinda scared her when we finally confronted him, but I don't blame her). Recently I played it again before the exhibit closes as both Torel and Chris separately and, well, there's not much difference between the two, although the Player 1 control was sort of "jammed" because it didn't move as freely as Player 2. Anyway, childhood nostalgia struck me very hard in both those two (three if you don't count playing as Torel and Chris separately as one) playthroughs, yet I regretted not recording either of them, but maybe next time when I get a video recorder (or when I find a working emulated version).
Anyhow, there won't be much art for the next few weeks and later next semester, although I can't say for Winter Break and other holidays. We'll see.
For Entry 01 and, later on, Entry 02 in The Ocean Hunter fanfiction, both chapters will be up sometime next week or so, and they will be written instead of drawn out as Entry 00.
I oughta wrap up for tonight, so until next time, take care.
Side note: The 5th anniversary for 9 is coming up very soon. Bet there's gonna be a large fan party.
