And another skirmish ends with victory for the Order of the Red Erisim.

I'm pretty sure some of us are tired of all of these skirmishes. Some yes, others nope.

Just when will the rest of the factions stop fighting, accept the results of the Obelisk War, and return home? Will the fighting ever stop?

I understand how fighting in these skirmishes and being in the winning team results in a special avatar, a faction-themed site theme, and being able to choose one of the many special boons is something that everyone (well, not everyone who participated in the war) wants or likes, but is it worth the effort?

You're not getting a new trophy for fighting in these skirmishes, you're not changing what has been said at the end of the war - heck, you're probably fighting in these skirmishes because you want to prove yourself and your faction once more in the battlegrounds OR you just fight and hope you're in the winning faction so you can get that special faction avatar and site theme and obtain one of the Oracle's boons OR you want to improve your Battledome scores after fighting those spirits of fault over a 100 times or the other way around.

As much as I like to rant more about this, consider this. The Altador Cup (yes, I participate in the Altador Cup for fun and sportsmanship, not cockiness or what not) is coming up soon and, if these skirmishes continue during this year's event, there might be lesser, same or more people playing on the field, throwing slushies, and/or doing Skyward Screams from the bleachers. The former won't make the Cup fun and complainers and whiners will complain and whine. That alone will bother other players who are less cocky and play for the funz. But I could be wrong.

The truce clock ticks in the battlefield. As much as I love these plots TNT thrown at us by surprise, I'm pretty sure we need a long-deserved rest from fighting before the Altador Cup comes in a few days.
