It's been a while ever since I've last made a journal. And since spring has arrived (yay!), a lot of things are due to come in the following weeks.

The fate of 9: Avengement

As mentioned in the previous journal, 9: Avengement is currently still on indefinite hiatus. And right now, I feel like I need to be deadly honest with everyone who's been sticking with the story for 4 years now why it's been left drifting on a cliffhanger.
Back when I first started Avengement, it was during the early months after the release of 9. Back then, as a newcomer of the fan base, I thought of creating a story that would give everyone a back story of 0, 10, 11 & 12, 13, 14, 15 & 16, 17, 18, 19, and 50, as well as introducing them into the community. While the story went for more than 100 pages, I slowly felt that it was slowly becoming confusing, full of bland events and cliches, and, well, boring to the readers. Deep inside, I felt this dreaded thought, but I didn't want to admit it out of fear I'll end the story there immediately if I do. Eventually, I suddenly lost the passion and interest I once had to draw out the story. However, I still have this lingering want to continue story, even if my head says, "No". In the end, I decided to put 9: Avengement on a hiatus. If I were to end it just there, there will be plenty of unanswered questions coming my way.
I would admit - despite its flaws, the story gave me a chance to shape who 0 and the others are in the barren and gray world of 9, the threats they face in this world, and leave behind clues of future material that would've been presented in later chapters. It also taught me what it's like to create stories like this and what to do and not to do when writing stories in the near future.
Furthermore, I wish I can continue on with the story, but now isn't the time. And for that, I know all of this might sound like a plain freakin' excuse, but I apologize to everyone for leaving the story this way. I can't guarantee I might upload more pages in the near future, but keep an eye out for such. Like the story itself, anything can happen.

The fanfiction has now reached a definitive release date to sometime this week or next week.


Lately I've been busy with school and family stuff. As a senior in high school, although I barely get homework from two of my classes - Physics and Gym (What, really?!? Yeah, really. The other classes I want were full) - I've been kept busy by the amounting homework for two AP classes I'm currently taking this year, most of which comes from Computer Science. Although afterschool clubs don't interfere with my plans, it's the AP work that does. So expect a slower art activity.

With college coming in a few months, not to mention I've finally decided on where I wanted to go as of Saturday, I've been thinking about doing commissions (aside from doing unsuccessful job hunts) to help my parents pay for the tuition and fees. However, that might have to wait until next week or sometime later. What concerns me though is whether doing commissions is a good idea or not. Readers, what do you think? Does commissions sound like something I can do?

Due to lack of interest, requests are now closed for the time being. Art trades will remain open for a while.

I might pop in a few drawings this week. However, in terms of school, by next week or so, drawing and stories will have to wait until late May.

Also, in case you guys don't know or didn't notice, I had opened a Twitter account back in November. It is currently what I use to say random shenanigans and say some things or events I probably couldn't address on dA at that time.
